  1. This is why, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God;

your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2).

But the Bible tells us that He hears the prayers of a righteous man.

So to have a reciprocal relationship with God who have to get rid of all your sins. So how do you do this then?

By obeying and believing in His gospel of the water and the Spirit, which is His righteousness (John 3:5).

All these thumbs down people are the disobedient.

  6. b/c he only has 450 minutes a month

  7. It's hard for God to talk to anyone considering the fact that he doesn't exist.

  8. He speaks to me through my toaster all the time.  Commanding me to do this or that.

  9. He does to me.

    John 10:2-4

But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

  10. That's because religion has given humanistic behaviorism to God.

In order to understand God, one must readjust their perspective on what they believe God to be.

God is the creator of all things... including Evil.

God is all things... including evil.

God is the Alpha and the Omega.

When people begin choosing what traits they would like God to have, they then collapse the very foundation of what God is... and God is all things.

You are God... I am God... not the God, but a creation of the all therefore making us a part of It. When Humans communicate with each other, it is God communicating with itself.

If you were expecting to hear something like a load voice blasting from the sky... it's not ever going to happen... not unless a man is in an plane with a loud speaker.

Religion has shattered all of the original principles of God so that God suites their own yearning. They tell you things like the sound of his voice will kill you and a bunch of hogwash kiddy stories.

In order to understand God... you must first understand yourself.

  11. He does, it just is not in an audible voice.

  12. God does speak to people. Its more likely that the person is unable to hear God than God not talking to them.

  13. Because either he wants to be mysterious or feels that we mere humans do not have the right to talk to Him. However George W. Bush says he talks to God, but  the advise given must have been pretty bad.

  14. He's too busy having a tea party with Santa and the Easter bunny.

  15. God speaking to humans is like a painter speaking to his paintings. However, God speaks to mankind through His Manifestations Who appear nearly once every 1000 years.

  16. He does. I hear Him all the Time. Jesus said that His sheep will hear His voice. If you want to hear His voice become one of His by turning away from your sins and receiving Jesus as your Lord.

  17. He does but we have to raise up to his level first, through salvation.

  18. He does only you don't hear Him, not like through your ears, it's that little voice inside of you that is Him. Sort of like ESP. So some people say He doesn't answer their prayers, He does only they don't know it. They would if they listen to what that voice inside the head is telling them. We're not suppose to be always praying and asking for something. We should be thanking Him for our blessings and praise Him through prayer. Look at our country and what's happening to it because of a small group who do not believe in the Almighty. They took prayer out of schools, and took Under God out of our pledge to the flag of the USA. God does not talk to you like another person, He talks to you through your heart, your soul and spirit. I know you have a lot of responses, and mine is just one more to read. But I surely hope and pray that you do believe in God. Best to you young lady.

  19. He does.  He speaks to me through His word, the bible, and through the holy spirit, as in, guidance.

    P.S.  That's beautiful, Jeff.

  20. oh doesnt he?

  21. then he would have less entertainment, doing it this way he gets to see more drama.

  22. He does, we just don't listen.

  23. He has to certain people in the past. Most people are not open to

direct communication. He gave us free will and calls us to him.

We decide  if we want to serve him or ourself.

  24. Indeed God does talk directly to us. I have heard him many times. Sometimes it is a voice that you have to be very quiet to hear. God is a gentlemen and does not impose his self on us.

Many times he talks to me through the bible because he knows my heart and what questions I have before I even ask them.

For example I was reading the book of John and the people brought the woman to him that had been caught in the act of adultry. In the story Jesus had knelt down and was writting in the dirt. I was wondering what it was that he was writting because it did not say . The very next day I was listening to a preacher who was talking about that  very same story and he said what it was that Jesus was writting in the dirt. COOL I got my answer and I didnt even verbally ask . God works in mysteriouse ways.

  25. The Christian answer:

God doesn't have to. He doesn't have to do what we HUMANS want to. You're humanizing God. His test for you is to get you to believe in him on faith alone - that proves that you have truly given your heart to God. He sent His only Son to die for your sins, so don't think that He is not listening. He is. You're just not listening for Him.

    The atheist answer:

Because he doesn't exist. In the Bible days, God talked to all of his humans directly. Isn't it convenient that all of that stopped once the Bible was written? More proof that it's just a story. God is fictional.

    Take your pick.

  26. We are not yet worthy to communicate directly with God.  He has provided a way for us to perfect ourselves so that we become worthy.  Since God is timeless he doesn't sense the urgency the way we do.
