Why doesn't LOTR: The Third Age (xbox) play in my xbox 360? (read more)?

I updated my system. LOTR is on the list of playable xbox games for 360. But it gives me a game error, download game again. message.

why doesnt it work?

It could be that the disc is faulty or that you don't have enough memory on your 360. If it's the disc, take it back to the store and trade it in for a new one. Make sure you still have your proof of purchase on you.
