She is such an excellent rider and shows all over the world. With her father being chef d'equipe of the Olympic Team you would think she would make the cut?

  1. maybe it's a personal choice not everyone wants to ride there

  2. Training for the Olympics is life consuming...many people don't want to make that kind of committment.

  3. Maybe she doesn't want to...

or maybe it's because her father is the chef d'equipe on the team, it could be seen as a bias.

  4. alot of people dont like competing.,

my sister for one just enjoys riding for riding me, i love riding but get a thrill out of comps

so maybe itys not for her.

  5. Explore it for more details http://www.olympicgamesbeijingin2008.com...

  6. I had the oppertunity to compete at high at high levels (obviousally not this high lol) and i chose to do a cople and than pulled out, i still ride, compete and train however felt the very seriousness of these comps wasnt for me. i also had a bad experience, my mother was extreamly into competing and at high levels when i was at an unsteady age of 15, she sorta left me behind without knowing, i went a little ferral and wild but luckely got saved b4 i got 2 outs hand.So i didn't really want to loose sight of what mattered. and as long as horses, family and friends are thats all i need. So with Laura maybe she has other commitments that she doesn't want to lose sight of. Or maybe the olympics just isnt her thing.

  7. probably needs a better rider in the team.
