  1. The fans are terrible.

  2. Lack of NFL support there. Their passions go more towards the NBA, MLB, and college football when it comes to sports

  3. Because we have the Trojans.

  4. Because Hollywood hates anything "all american"!

  5. It is politics

The NFL owners don't want it there,

And there aren't any serious groups in LA that want a team there.

San Diego my be jumping ship to LA in after next season or so, because the Q needs work,

  6. The fans in LA don't want one. And I can't blame them. They've been screwed by the Raiders and the Rams. These NFL teams ask for taxpayers money to build these big as s stadiums and they are all privately owned except for the Green Bay Packers. So the owner can just pack up his stuff and say s***w you I and my team are leaving. LA fans don't want to go through that again. Besides no NFL team wants to use the old beat up Coliseum.

  7. No fan support!

  8. because its very hard to keep a team when the stadium is barely half full

  9. Oakland is close enough, and San diego is close so deal, there are no teams in Arkansas or other states (from NY)

  10. They have too many pro sports teams already..Lakers..clippers..angels..dogde...

  11. Stadium issues have been a big problem. Los Angeles doesn't have a big money-making facility, which is where the money is in the NFL. The Rams were given the dome in St. Louis, so they found it more lucrative to move from Los Angeles. (TV revenue and ticket sales are roughly even around the league, so the difference from team to team usually is determined by things as seat licenses, suite sales, etc.)

If the NFL expanded and L.A. was willing to build something new, the league would be there in a second. I could also see a franchise moving there someday; Buffalo and New Orleans seem like the best candidates.

  12. The fans in LA are as superficial as the celebrities.

Other than the Lakers, the only teams that draw are winners. Remember 10-15 years ago when USC was garbage and the Coliseum was nearly empty?

There is way too much to do in LA (beaches, parties, celeb chasing) that nobody wants to pay to see a loser.

It's not like Indianapolis or Green Bay where there is absolutely nothing to do but go to a football game.
