Why doesn't Mariah Carey dress for her age?

Their is no need to be rude. Just state your opinion. Don't get me wrong Mariah is a pretty girl. She is turning 40 and she still dresses like she is 16. And the way she dresses girls can not look up to that. Wearing Short mini skirts and tying her shirt around her stomach. I think she would look much prettier if she put on clothes that were not skin tight or skimpy. What is your opinion?

When you think that you have a hot body, you dress like it. Me, my sister, my aunt, and my mom all lost a lot of weight at different times. I noticed a change in the way that everyone dressed after the weight loss. When you think that you are hot, then you dress like it.

While I do agree with you a bit about the way she dresses, just because someone is 40 doesn't mean they should have to dress any certain way.  She is beautiful and works very hard to have her body and at least she isn't afraid to flaunt it.  She has had a very rough go of things and she deserves to be successful, happy, and comfortable in her own skin.

Well, if you're 40 and you look good in it, there'sno reason not to wear it.  A minidress is more appropriate for a woman than a 16 year old girl anyway.  BUT, on the other hand, Mariah Carey is a self absorbed hoe.

I'm sure stylists around the world just cringe everytime she makes a public appearance. Regarding her obvious weird choice of clothes, I think she's kind of out to lunch, in a permanent kind of way...

Because she is trying to appeal to young audiences and to get people to think that she's still young and hot. She focuses so much on her body in her music videos, that she isnt even trying that hard to sing anymore, or mabye she's trying to distract us because of the fact that she's probably losing "the voice". I was so disappointed when i heard her new album...and her new videos. Im a huge fan, but the old Mariah has left the building :(

I saw a picture of her once where she was wearing this thing she called a shirt where it was two little strap like things covering her b***s and I thought I was going to puke. It was f****** disgusting! I think she likes to dress like that because she wants to fit in with younger people and she wants to BE younger. I agree that SHE IS A HORRIBLE ROLE MODEL DRESSING LIKE THAT. But if she wasn't wearing those clothes and she got clothes for her age, she would be a WAY better role model. IDK. Maybe it's 'cuz she recently lost weight and she wanted to show it off?  Plus she has a good body for a woman her age. And maybe she's been told s*x sells? LOl.
