Why doesn't NBC show the current Beijing time near the logo?

Why can't NBC show the current Beijing time near the logo, instead of just the big Olympics/NBC symbol? It sure would help get a feeling of the Beijing day for the athletes, for those of us watching in the USA.

It's the same time there and here (if your eastern or central). It's just dark.
