Why doesn't Obama talk about how he won in Chicago?

How was he being dishonest if he played by the rules. The opening paragraph says how he did it. Is that dirty politics, I don't think so. He knew to dot the I's and cross the T's. They didn't.

Because it is not cheating.  It is tough politics.  Challenging petition signatures is built into the election law in order to prevent fraudulent signatures being used to get a candidate on the ballot.  Obama played by the rules and succeeded in challenging his opponent's petitions.  Any competent campaign does it.  It might be tough but those are the rules and it definitely isn't cheating.  

If you think the McCain campaign won't be doing exactly the same thing to Bob Barr's nominating petitions, then you're living in a dream world.

He also would have likely lost the senate race in 2004 had his opponents messy divorce details become public, forcing him to drop out.
