Why doesn't Perez get sued for slander?

Same goes for celebrity mags who rag on celebs with no validity. I know people try to sue Perez but they don't win their cases. Why??

Yep. Pretty much what the guy above said. Freedom of speech. Besides, it's their jobs to slander the celebrities. No one job is perfect :/
