Why doesn't Subway just keep the footlong subs at $5?

Otherwise, it's just too expensive. They're good, but not that good. And $5 for a nice footlong sub is as good as it gets fastfood wise, for fullness and health. When they drop this deal, nobody is going to go there again.

And what the h**l is up with their "5 Dolla Holla" advertising...I wonder who they're trying to market toward.

  1. I don't think they would lose any money.  Subway is really skimpy on what they put in their subs.  They are really not that good anymore.  That's why they are doing the $5 deal.  They are trying to boost sales.  That's what saved Little Cesar's  they offered pizzas for only $5.  They are not very good but people will buy anything if its cheap enough and edible.

  2. they should keep it at 5 dollars

  3. they would lose lots of money

  4. guess you might just have to settle for a six inch, eh?

    P.S.

    HA HA!!!

  5. They should have that price everyday.  It's a normal amount for a submarine sandwich.  They could be the first to offer a healthier meal in Lew of Gas prices, cost of living today.

  6. How is a footlong sub so healthy? For my meatball sub, that's 560 calories * 2. That's almost 1200 calories and add chips, along with a drink, and look here; you have a Mcdonald's Extra Value Meal which is so "unhealthy" for you? Give me a break, "healthy".

  7. cause if they keep the footlong 4 $5 they could lose money
