Why doesn't Wendy's serve breakfast?

You would think they would have to serve breakfast to remain competitive with McDonalds and Burger King.

  1. They tried it a long time ago and decided it wasn't cost effective. Recently they introduced some breakfast menu items at some stores here in Columbus, Ohio. I don't know if they were successful or if they're still doing it or not.

  6. I don't think they ever did here in MN.I find it odd because Arby's,Mc Donalds both sell it.They should step there game up.

  7. They have started serving breakfast in test markets over the past couple months with so so results.  Kind of a wait and see approach.

  9. Here's a picture of their breakfast menu...nothing too exciting.  I still like the McGriddle.

  10. For the most part is because they cant make a profit reason being is that MCDONALD's holds a lot of the BREAKFAST MARKET... Just go to a MCDONALD's at 7AM and you will see how busy they are... its not their fault other restaurant cant make sandwiches as good as theirs...

  13. The new breakfast menu should be fully deployed nationwide (US) by late 2008 or early 2009.
