Why doesn't Yahoo Answers have a softball section?

I play ASA, and softball is basically my life. I was just wondering why we don't have a softball section in Yahoo Answers.

Well, they probably use the baseball section as a section also for softball, due to the fact that there are more fans towards America's Pastime rather than Softball

i dunno bt u can just classify ur softball questions like dis one in da baseball section and usually wen people press show me another question after they answersed one that wasnt urs it go 2 urs

I'll tell you why I personally think there's no softball section on Y!A...

The majority of the questions would be:

"What position should I play?"

"I'm batting .716 is that good?"

"What should we name our team?" (That question is fun sometimes, but if there were a softball section, there would be an overload of that question.)

So therefore, Y!A just uses the baseball section for people to ask those questions.

Softball would be considered a subject, not a category.

The category that Softball falls under would be SPORTS.

And under that it would be considered "Football"
