Why doesn't Yahoo Mail Plus Search work?

No matter what I type in the Search box, Yahoo Mail Plus doesn't find any matches. I can be looking at a message in the inbox, and type in one of the words in that message or in that message's title and it still won't find it. Does the Search function have to be enabled somehow?
