Why doesn't Yahoo allow room moderators/owners to have the ability to kick/ban booters?

Owners and mods have all the responsibility and no power. That's insane.

For the same reason there are Vice Presidents and Presidents.  One person of authority wants to posses all the power, have the fun, and take the credit.

If you are talking about Yahoo Groups, the owner and moderators with assigned privilege can ban members.

If you are talking about Yahoo Chat rooms, that's just the way it is.  <groan>   This would be an interesting topic to post on the Yahoo Suggestion Board.  Here is the link for that:
