Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle? ?

  1. Glue sticks through the fluid in the solution evaporating, leaving only the "stickiness" behind. Inside the bottle the contents are protected from air to prevent evaporation and also are in sufficient quantities to remain in solution.

    Remove the lid and leave the contents exposed and eventually the glue will stick to the side of the bottle. Remove all of the content and spread a little of the glue on the inside and it will very quickly stick to the side.
