  1. It does rain in Hawaii. Hawaii is one of the states with the most precipitation in the US.

  2. It does rain in Hawill pretty frequently.  Hawaii is in a tropical climate, and is right in the middle of an ocean.  And areas near or in between the tropic of cancer and capricorn are more prone to rain than anywhere else.

  3. where are you from?

  4. It did when I went.

  5. It rains like every day here.

  6. It does rain there.

  7. I don't know. Why aren't there any trees there that need water either? Or people?

  8. It does mauka, but I guess your screen name provides a clue.  If you live on the west side of the mountains in Hawai'i, you are basically in a desert believe it or not.  The trade winds, which blow from the east towards the west, go over the mountains where all the moisture condenses and rains out as the wind goes up the mountain.  There is little moisture left on the west side of the mountains.  Hana, on the east side of Maui is quite jungly and lush while the west side of the island and even Lahaina aren't so much.  Plus the air tends to be descending, which further dries the atmosphere so that by the time it hits the coast on the west side, it's pretty dry.

There are places on the west side of the big island that get less than 6 inches of rain a year after the east slopes of the volcanoes get dumped on with over 100 inches a year.

  9. its cause its too Warm for it to rain during the Summer times and cause of the volcano Eruption and Tsunamis

  10. It does, almost daily on the windward sides (east facing slopes) of the islands.  The western sides of the islands are much drier due to the sinking air coming down the mountains.
