Because Italy has culture and taste and does not need to partecipate in a contest of filthy songs. There's always the San Remo Festival, which is a real song contest....

Italy has really cool singers and u know eurovision is just political so they don't get any points

that's why they stopped i think they did the best

they used to enter the contest. I guess they couldnt get many points lately and they gave up with this not so important political contest.
