Why aren't public meetings simulcast over the internet, and public input allowed through email, or text message? It would force them to explain more fully what they are voting on. They wouldn't be able narrow down meeting minutes to a brief nebulous descriptions of agenda items. Most public meetings are held during the hours many people are working at their jobs.
