Why doesn't my DVR record all of my new shows?

sometimes it seems that my DVR doesn't record of all of the new shows. like it will just randomly skip, for no apparent reason, a new show, and I miss it. This doesn't happen too often but often enough where it annoys the shite outta me.

I have to say it sounds like a conflict of scheduling or the shows are not new. If you have it set to record only new shows, there has been a lot of reruns due to the strike. you could try setting it to record all shows if you have room. That way if they rerun them you can catch up on what you missed. Hope this helps.

What kind of DVR do you have?

maybe u hav to check all the programming schedules, maybe ur recording too many things at once. it can only take two at a time.
