Why doesn't my Internet work?

I have a desktop computer and the internet works. My dad and my brother have a laptop and both of there wireless internet works. But on my laptops' wireless doesn't work. It was working a week ago just fine.

Do you have multiple firewalls running?

Try disabling and reanabling the network card by using the control panel>network connections and right click on the connection being used  i.e. Local area connection 1 and/or  1494 connection (this is presuming you have windows) .

Also in the control panel, go to system> hardware tab> device manager, and under the network icon click the plus sign and check to see if network card is installed. If its not installed or there is a yellow exclamation point anywhere, drivers may need to be reinstalled
