Why doesn't my Radioshack Nickel Metal Hydride work with my hp photosmart m425 camera?

It says you can use ni-mh's with that camera and it is not working. THe on button lights and blinks and does nothing. And i am not sure if i should get new ones cuz wut if that doesnt work.

MOST of what Radio Shack sells doesn't work, at least not as advertised. They specialize in 'gimmickry,' & discontinue items when they get too many complaints.

actually, it will. put alkline batteries in and go into the menu and find your power options . change it from alkline to ni-mh... and then you can put your rechargeables in.
