it supports some of the files that I get from torrents but not torrent files themselve. I downloaded I think it was K-Lite codec (I don't know much about codec). Is there another codec that I should download if I want to use utorrent? How do I know what all file types my media player supports?

  1. The *.torrent extension files are meant for BitTorrent Network clients (such as: uTorrent, BitComet or Azureus). Thanks to them your client connects to certain trackers (servers) and exchanges data with people using the same *.torrent exrension file and connected to the same tracker as you are

  2. My dog once ate a purple spatula, but only if my nanna is not a goat.

    MADE FROM VEGETABLE OIL!!

Especially for women that have very large shoes with feathers. ONLY CHUNKY!!!

  3. download the crystal media player, go to play your file, it will then download the codec you need, now open windows media player and try agai, and it should pick up the installed codec

  4. face palm. torrent files are not media.

  5. I take it you have already downloaded torrents????

You need to download divx codecs for movies to play in wmp. Depending on the type of torrent your referring to, there are many types, iso, cue & bin ( these have to be mounted and played or burned ) xvid, divx and many more.

You could also download vlc player which plays almost anything.

Do a yahoo or google search for more info and what to do with torrent files and how to open, play & burn them.

    Hope this helps

  6. .torrent files are for torrent programs only. They just have the tracking information to download the actual file.

    They aren't media.

Remember, about 25-40% of all video files on many torrents are fake.
