Question:

Why doesn't my Yahoo! Go doesn't work on my mobile phone?

I have just downloaded it to my Samsung SGH-E900, but I can't get it to work. The program does have access to the internet, I have made sure of that. This is what happens:

I load the program and am asked for my preferred content (I have tried 'United States (English)' and 'UK & Ireland'). I select 'done'. Firstly it says Yahoo! Go is 'Connecting' for a couple of seconds.. Then it says it is 'Checking' for a couple of seconds. Then it says it is 'Configuring', however it freezes at this point for up to ten seconds (but I haven't counted). Then I am presented with the following message:

'Yahoo! Go configuration failed. Please restart Yahoo! Go.'

Selecting help doesn't help me, because it tells me to make sure there is a working internet connection (which there is). I have restarted the application but I get the same problem. I have restarted the phone but I get the same problem. What should I do to make it work?

  1. wel it looks like you have sprint,

    in the my content manager select applications and then select the yahoo go!  application, DO NOT CLICK ON IT

    next select options on the bottom right of your screen.

    select settings

    make sure yahoo go is allowed to access all info on your phone or optimal usage.

    hope tihis helps.

    if this does not work go to settings then power vission  

    make sure net gaurd is on and power vission is allowed to run

    if this does not work turn your phone off for one complete munite then turn back on.

    if this does not work make sure your battery life is fully charged
