Why doesn't my chemical romance get played on the radio?

Pretty much as others have said, only songs that people are quizzed on if they like are replayed again usually on radio with those two songs being it. Plus no new music means no new songs from them, unless they either get the record company to release another song, or get one of their songs so liked on a station that it sweeps the nation (ala Colbie Calliet)

usualy the radio plays singles and..idk. i guess im not okay was OVER PLAYED!!!!!!! and the other ones are just older.

maybe those are just the biggest hits..idk

What you hear on the radio are the singles, or the "hits."

The band, the label and everyone involved with the group wants you to buy the other songs, the entire CDs, so you can listen to them at your leisure. If they played them all on the radio, you'd have no reason to do that - and no one would make any money.

maybe they don't want to be played out, or sold out. i don't really listen to the radio that much anymore (same c**p all day long) so i don't know. but you know they would only play the "popular" songs and we would never get to hear the great ones like Demolition Lovers and Cubicles.

because the radio to an extent has to appeal to everybody. if you notice with a lot of bands (mcr in particular), the radio only plays the most mainstream sounding songs. the 2 songs you named and FLW were those singles, and they were great but its been awhile and they need something new. but you'll never hear Mama or Headfirst for Halos on the radio because of the content...
