Question:

Why doesn't my computer's autoplay give me the option to view my mp3 players folder?

I just reformatted my computer. It's an eMachine with Windows XP. My mp3 player is a Samsung YP-K5. My computer won't let me view the folder on the mp3. I went into my computer, but it wasn't in any of the removable drives. I tried going to "add new hardware", but it said that my YP-K5 was working properly. What's the deal? It showed up before I reformatted the OS, but now it won't. My flash drives show up in the removable drives. Help?

  1. It might not recognize it, you usually have to plug it in and windows will install drivers for it so it will work. Leave it in there for a few min, if it doesn't work it might be corrupted[which means it's dead] Unless, you have the drivers for it, like from a cd [if it came with one] or the manufacturer's website.
