Why doesn't my digital converter box pick up nbc?

Probably because you are in a weak spot for the signal from your local NBC station.  Or, it could be that your local station isn't transmitting in digital yet.

The links below will show you what digital stations you have in your area and give you an idea about signal strength at your location.  The lower the transmit power, the lower the antenna, the more trouble you will have receiving the signal.  If there is a hill of mountain or other tall obstruction between you and the antenna of the transmitter, that might be blocking it as well.

Of course, if you are using rabbit ears, a roof antenna might bring in NBC.
