when I'm riding it goes into first easily when you wanna take off, and 90% of the time it is impossible to get it into 2nd, so i just let go of the clutch and it tends to go in then, or if the revs aren't to high it also tends to go in. It goes into 3rd and 4th fine.

  1. you have a problem that is internal in that transmission causing that sorry

  2. It wants you to redline it in first gear then pop into third and lug hard for max speed. Some engines like to be treated rough.

  3. either the pin is damaged on the end of the shift drum or the 2nd gear shift fork is bent.check under the clutch cover and look at the shift drum.if it is in tact, then you'll have to go into the transmission.
