I have posed other questions regarding my husbands reluctance at making love early on in our marriage (we've been married almost 4 weeks now and have made love only 3 1/2 times) we had made love earlier on in our relationship, but decided to hold off and wait until we were married. Many changes took place prior to our marriage, one of the biggies is that my husband quit drinking (he drank every day, usually got drunk every day). When we made love before in our relationship, it came pretty naturally and it was fun, he usually had a beer or 2 in him. Now that we are married it seems stiff and he doesn't seem to be as "natural" or carefree about it. It's as if he doesn't know how, almost like he is embarassed. I would like to hear from any other recovering alcoholics about how their recovery affected their intimate lives. Also in 1 or 2 of his past relationships he watched p**n. I don't want to watch it (he's the only man that I want 2 c naked!) he says he no longer cares for it.
