Why doesn't my laptop produce any volume?

i fixed the volume and everything but all the videos i try to watch don't produce any volume at all. can someone please help.

Reinstall your sound driver which comes with your laptop driver disc.

are you able to hear some sound when your laptop starts up?

if not, then you need to install drivers for audio, you can get them from laptops website or the cd that came with it.

if yes, then you need to install proper codecs for your video files, currently codecs may not be able to decode the sound from the files (unlikely though if you are getting the video, but fairly possible)

check whether you have installed all the required softwares related to volume n speakers also in the control pannel go to the device manager and check whether it is running properly if its not running properly u can see a yellow exclamation symbol near it. troubleshoot to find the problem and fix it.

if you still cant do it its advisable to go to a computer service station
