  1. Have you downloaded iTunes yet?  It might not read the nano until you do.  Also, you hooking it up directly to the usb or through a hub, if through a hub try hooking up directly to the laptop.


  2. Well I can use it with Windows Vista...have you downloaded itunes?

  3. Perhaps because, since iPod is an Apple thing, you can't use it with Windows because it's only meant to be compatible with an Apple computer?
