Why doesn't my phone charger work. I have the samsung D900i?

When i got this phone i connected it to my computer with the USB which comes with the Samsung D900i. i found out it charged while i was getting files off my phone and i have been charging it by that.

Before my NORMAL charger was working but now it doesn't. When i plug it in, the charger goes hot and the phone doesn't say the charger is inserted.

I go on holiday sometimes and i like to take pictures but how can i charge it if my normal charger doesn't work. The battery goes low after 2 hours or so...

Buy another charger. That charger is standard, you can use the MP3 USB chargers. They are cheap.
