Question:

Why doesn't my photos button show up to members?

I just started a Yahoo group and have posted several pictures in the group. I asked several people and directed them how to view the photos. They all responded that there wasn't a "Photo" button. I joined my own group with a different Yahoo ID and I do not see a "Photo" button from the non-moderator account either.

I figure I have done something wrong in the set up, but can't see how.

Thanks in advance for the help.

  1. You need to change your Group's settings to allow ordinary members to be able to view Photos.  Do this by clicking on Management on the left-hand side of your Group's web page.  Then click on Web Tools on the right-hand side of the resulting page.  Then click the Edit link next to Web Tools.  Then, under Files / Photos, change the choice from Moderators Only to Limited or Members (whichever you prefer).  Don't forget to click Save Changes (towards the lower-right-hand corner) when you're done.

  3. management- under group settings click web tools- web tools (edit) <- click the edit first on list Files and Photo's select and check which you want enabled- click save changes
