Question:

Why doesn't our hair thin faster?

I read someplace that we lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day on average. So why don't we lose all our hair faster? Losing 100 hairs a day is obviously such a faster rate than which we grow them, so why don't we thin at like, age 20, and bald at like, 24?

  1. I guess cause we have a lot of hair, and we only start losing it at that rate when we're adults (children have less hair loss).
