  1. 1) It helps to prevent troll activity on your account, stopping them from harassing you via e-mail.

    2) Some may not want to be "corrected" or continue conversation beyond the Y/A website.


  2. Maybe because they don't want lots of junk email? Or maybe they want a bit of privacy.

  3. Yeah, I do not get that too. No one finds out you're email.
