  1. Forget about an Utopian state.....the laws of the universe are established once and for all

  2. Have you ever noticed how you learned the lessons of living by over coming the struggle of life? How nothing is learned until it is experienced in mind?

Our physical environment entails the battle for existence; the social surroundings necessitate ethical adjustments; the moral situations require the making of choices in the highest realms of reason; the spiritual experience (having realized God) demands that we find him and sincerely strive to be like him.

P.1223 - §4 May I admonish you to heed the distant echo of the Spirit's faithful call to your soul? The indwelling Spirit cannot stop or even materially alter your career struggle of time; the Spirit cannot lessen the hardships of life as you journey on through this world of toil. The divine indweller can only patiently forbear while you fight the battle of life as it is lived on your planet; but you could, if you only would--as you work and worry, as you fight and toil--permit the valiant Spirit to fight with you and for you. You could be so comforted and inspired, so enthralled and intrigued, if you would only allow the Spirit constantly to bring forth the pictures of the real motive, the final aim, and the eternal purpose of all this difficult, uphill struggle with the commonplace problems of your present material world.

  3. Because him being a puppet master wouldn't be perfect either and perfect doesn't exist.

  4. Either because

1 he/she is a lazy, inconsiderate b*****d who really doesn't give a toss or else enjoys being entertained by the pain

    2 there is no creator

  5. there is no such thing

  6. What if he/she/it already has?

It never ceases to amaze me that atheists and religious folks both think there's something wrong with the world.

If there's a God, then the only thing that can be wrong is man's perception of the world.

If there ISN'T a God, then the only thing that can be wrong is man's perception of the world.

The course of atoms was laid out long ago. Whether this was done by design or chance is irrelevant. Things are going where they're going with either the force of all that has come before or the force of an omnipotent God.

Whatever the source of the way things work, the only thing that CAN be out of whack is man's perception of it.

  7. Human beings would reject the idea of perfection.  We are so skeptical and always looking for the hidden agenda in everything.  Besides, to do that, you'd also have to take away free will.  That's to keep anyone from questioning perfection or thinking up stuff like crime and all.

  8. He could say, what's your definition of perfect.

He could say, but I did create the Universe perfect.

Had I not provided the Sun for warmth, the Earth for sustenance, the Oceans for adventure, Man and Woman for mutual companionship, the Mind for the pleasures of discovery, the Soul as the promise that someday we will be reunited.

He could say... tell me what had I forgotten?

  9. If everything were perfect, then only good things would happen. If only good things happened, then there would be no bad.  If there is no bad, then there is no choice that can be made between good and bad.  In other words, no free will.  That only works if you believe in free will, though.

  10. it is not that simple--as humans we make mistakes and will continue even if the magic wand has been waved

  11. Perhaps the way things are IS perfect? It just might not seem so to us. =)

  12. "Without suffering there would be no compassion" A Walk to Remeber.  Honestly, I have no idea though

  13. It already is perfect. It's our vision that is distorted.

We create with the distortions that we think we see.

  14. Because that creator either doesn't care or doesn't exist.

  15. he did/it is.

  16. .....because there may not be a creator....

  17. Because there isn't a creator.

  18. Because man's turn now.

  19. they say it is to teach the human race to help itself.  did your parents always make everything better? no, they let you get into your own mess and let you find a way out of it.

  20. God created each individual with free will.  That we can choose to do what is right and good, but also we can choose to do evil and wrong.

  21. Do you  realize how incredibly boring that would be. LIfe is an adventure, live it.

  22. Because the Creator gave us the partial power to create also (of course we were suppose to follow the rules but didnt-- now we have created our own mess and live within the mess that others create also)

And there is a promise that if we do follow what is right or rather the "light  of life" it is all restored and overcome.

Thats what Jesus is doing by giving humanity a "Holy spirit"...if you read revelation the last thing to be offered back to God is creation free of death and agony (fighting principles and ways of men), it is overcome with the "light of life" or "the WAY the Truth".

  23. Because he gave you the magic wand in the beginning.  You just have to figure out how to make it work.  The true power of the Creator or God or whoever you wish to call him/her/it is inside yourself, you only have to find it.

  24. because everything already is perfect! Don't you see! Your perfect is simply... better. "The creator's prefect" is already here. When you look at something and compare it to another thing it becomes "better" or "worse", but when you compare that same thing to itself and nothing else then it is perfect as it is. A crooked line. A sloppy circle. A cloud in the sky. A street light. Words coming from your mouth. Smoke rising from a fire. Somethings are overcomplicated, overlooked, and wanted to be something else, when people don't realize sometimes is its perfect as it is, for if it weren't then it would not be what it was.

  25. Because there is no Creator of the Universe.
