They did this in Champ car a few years back. It would be nice to see how each driver attacks certain corners as far as throttle control and braking are concerned.

  1. Because teams would steal grroves from each other.

F1 is too competitive to allow that, as a team would just steal the groove from another. All the teams allow is a mandatory data transmitter which transmits the throttle and brake data.

  2. why would anybody care about that

  3. It doesn't seem like they get a lot of light inside that cockpit, it would be hard for camera's to capture any image inside. It also looks really cramped, i don't think the drivers would appreciate it much having an extra device in there that reveals a bit more of their driving style.

  4. Yes, it would be very cool to see King Louis's feet work while he is driving in anger around a circuit.  A lot of the F-1 teams still have lots of secrets so maybe some would be revealed if there is a camera in the cockpit?

  5. You get my vote, providing the FIA bring a clutch pedal ( + manual gearbox) back..

  6. .

I have always thought it a great idea. I love watching Oz V8 T Car and WRC, etc. Anything with more onboard and incar shots is right up my boulevard!

Also, bring back the foot operated clutch and manual gears, and we'll some balletic footwork. Lovely!

On a side note. Has anyone ever wondered about the phenomenom on wildlife programs....God's tiny little creatures lugging about huge Critter Cams strapped on their backs....what's that all about??
