  1. What would you have them do?

Make them sell oil in the USA at below world market prices?

  2. By doing what. There has to be a court case that as been adjudicated first. If you had paid attention in class you would have known that. It's amazing how stupid some of the questions are on here.

  3. Hey, the less those Nazgul put their hands on....

    ...the better!

  4. What exactly would you like the Supreme Court to do?  It can only review decisions by lower courts on cases that are presented.  Unless you think the Court can reduce the amount of oil China consumes?

  5. They don't act, they answer. You need send them a petition in the form of a brief.

    Caption it:

    John Q. Dumbass v. ExxonMobil.

    * Make sure you serve the complaint properly & pay your court fees.

Do some brushing up on Original Jurisdiction, and you'll just do fine, counselor.

  6. The Supreme Court's job is to hear court cases and apply the Constitution to determining whether something is legal or not.  They are NOT a ruling body!

The Constitution doesn't even allow for the Federal Government to seize the assets of a profitable company or to coerce private businesses in any way.  So, really, not even Congress is allowed to mess with this.

In fact, if Congress would get out of the way and stop restricting energy development, we'd all get our fuel and everything else a whole lot cheaper.

  7. I assume you meant the congress they handle all legislation bills.

They will get to it dude, they have allot on their plate , the housing bill to be perfected, the relations to Russia and Gorgeia from the president to prevent world war 3, government spending on our military you name it.

I wouldn't expect any help from congress until mid next year when gas is

$5.00 a gallon and the economy is in our sight for a bill to cover that and other energy policies along with the help of the new president elect.

  8. Answer 1. No one has brought a suit up to the Circuit Court they want to appeal to the US Supreme Court, or one that had sufficient merit to get to that point.

Answer 2: The US Supreme Court are political appointees, appointed for their agreement with the president/administration that appointed them.
