Why doesn't the Undertaker talk much on the mic?

I would like to know that because if i remember correctly, in the past, when he was american badass, he was talking much than today. so why does'nt he talk much these days? i know it's becuase its his gimmick but i would like to know the reason why because one of my friend loves the undertaker but she doesn't understand that.

actions speak louder than words. loved the end of friday's smackdown with the taker and vickie and the 'family'.

because it makes him look more tough and he is the undertaker he wants to be like mysterious. and when he talks he makes his voice deeper like last time on smack down for the same reason so they can get scare of him

As stated already, it's part of his Gimmick.  It could be also that maybe in the past he may not have good Mic skills, (But I doubt it now...I would imagine he'd be able to say what he needs to say)

so they fit him into his Gimmick so he wouldnt have to talk so much.  He doesnt even make much noise when hit or anything unlike some other wrestlers.  

I think that if given the chance to step up to the Mic it would make him even more of a ledgend.  He's a Legend now, but everything up to now he had to pull off being silent (for the most part).  If he had been given the opportunity to talk, he could reinvent himself with voice as well as expression and action.  That could make him soooo over the top it would be amazing.  (If he could use the Mic...not saying he can't...just really havent heard him much)

The Undertaker character would not work well with a flashy talker; because it would take away from his mystery.  It requires a man of a few words  who gets his point across quickly.
