  1. The U.N is full of bureaucracy. it takes them months to address an issue and when they do it just takes 1 permanent member to veto the whole solution, so they start from scratch again. How long did it take them to even talk about sudan?? when they finally did they decided to send 26,000 troops to stop the genocide that was 3 weeks ago. they still haven´t even decided which country will donate what troops or which country will donate money or when they plan to send the troops. meanwhile everyday hundreds of people are getting killed or abused. its a joke!!

  2. they are corrupt, they cant be trusted, and they cant perform their jobs

  3. to be fair the UN was in Iraq BEFORE the US invaded...too bad we didn't let them finish their job

  4. The U.N. has to rely on compromises and alliances among its members. It doesn't just go off charging away on its own, for all the good or ill that brings.

Maybe it's time for Americans to stop pretending to be the world's cop. America is more like the biggest bully on the school ground, throwing his weight around because there's nobody else to keep him in check.

  5. No one really listens to the UN. Simple.

UN to Sudan: Please stop the genocide.

    Sudanese govt. : Make me.

    UN: huh?

Sudanese govt. : you cannot infringe on national sovereignity.

UN: oh right. well we are going to send aid.

    Sudanese govt: knock yourself out.

  6. Because the one who makes the decisions is ALWAYS the one who gives the money.

  7. The UN proves that the US system of the people keeping the government in some sort of check, works ... relatively.

There is no check on the UN so they quickly became absolutely corrupt.
