Why doesn't the admin page come up when i try to put in the ip address?

when i put in 192.168.1.1 it doesn't wanna go to the page

maybe your PC isn't on the same network.  What is your IP address?

It depends on the type of router I know for LINKSYS that Ip should work. for net gear or belking In think is different check your user manual. Some times depending from where you are accesing the router it might be blocked so try doing it from the main computer.
