  1. I am having the same issue.  It appears some modules update and others don't.  It also appears that on different computers I get an updated front page and on others it is around 6 days old.

  2. I had this problem with many of my modules, since late February.... but I have the fix for you: upgrade to the new My Yahoo, Which is Beta right now.

Of course they don't bother to tell you that.

After contacting yahoo with no avail, I fixed it by upgrading to the New (beta) my yahoo. (Don't have the link to upgrade to it, sorry).

I still miss the old my yahoo! (you can switch back if you don't like it)

and give tech support a piece of your mind, please.

  3. I'm not quite sure but you if you hit F5(pc users) or refresh it should update

  4. Unfortunately, all this advice doesn't work.  There is some technical glitch with MyYahoo! modules that is affecting some of us.  Most of the content on my page is four-days old or more.  Please contact Yahoo! customer service about this, so that they are made aware of the scope of the problem, otherwise we may never get resolution.

Here's what they told me several days ago:

"Please be assured that our engineers are aware of this problem.  Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful in finding the root cause of the problem. However, we continue to work on this issue and hope to have it resolved soon."

Further update:  ecdysis is righ!  You can fix this by migrating to the new MyYahoo! Beta via this link: http://cm.my.yahoo.com/update.

  5. Dennis is right.

This is a huge problem on Yahoo's end.  Many 'My Yahoo" users are having this problem.  Don't go crazy trying to change settings on your computer---you risk messing it up.

Mine has been out of date basically since 2-25-07.

I contacted cust. support with no resolution.  Frustrating.

  6. Why is the content on my page out of date?

If you've left your browser open to My Yahoo! and haven't touched it, the news and stock quotes may not be the latest available. Here are some ways you can update this information:

    a. Click the "Reload/Refresh" button in your browser.

    or

    b. Set My Yahoo! to automatically refresh your page:

At the top of your My Yahoo! page, click the Select Page drop-down menu, select Add/Delete Page.

Scroll down to the Options section, locate the Refresh Rate menu.

Select the rate at which you want your content to update.

Next time you leave your browser open to My Yahoo!, you'll see that it updates the page automatically.

You may also want to clear your browser's cache file. Please consult your browser help section for more information on how this is done.

If none of these steps solve the problem, please contact Yahoo! Customer Care with the name of the module that is not updating and a copy of the page. (To make a copy: go to your browser's File menu, click Save As, name your file and choose a location to save it to. Send a copy of the saved file to Customer Care).
