Why doesn't the light on my BlackBerry 8820 blink green?

I just traded a ATT Curve 8310 for an ATT 8820. My Curve would always blink red when I had a message, e-mail, missed call, voicemail, etc., as does my 8820. But with the Curve, whenever it was idle, it would always be blinking green, but my 8820 only blinks red or nothing at all.

Why is that? I liked the green light that was always blinking with my Curve (if it wasn't blinking red), is there any way to make it happen with my 8820? Thank you!!

To turn on the coverage indicator (which is what the green light is):

- Go to options

- Select: Screen/Keyboard

- Turn LED Coverage Indicator to Yes
