Question:

Why doesn't the market provide more "steam-punked" stuff?

For those that don't know, steampunk is mixing new technology with an antique-look.... and general Neo-Victorianism such as fashion and style as far as I can gather :-)

Like this computer:

As a person who LOVES antique's, the idea really intrigue's me.

This seems to be an idea that lots of people are really starting to catch on to and like it, but I can't find a steampunked laptop for sale like this one ANYWHERE?!

Not even some dude in his basement that makes them as his business.

Is it because for an item to be truly "steampunk" it has to be unique? Or is it because the level of craftsmanship is too high to mass produce?

Thanks!

  1. This thing is pretty neat! I liked it and searched for it anywhere but couldn't  find it anywhere.

Just out of curiosity, how much will you be willing to pay for this?

  2. .   THis is a niche product.  Not enuf buyers for you to sell a million items.  You could do it locally and make a little money.
