  1. i was wondering this too. Its a big deal and i have no idea why exactly they invaded georgia.

  2. They are ashamed to show Georgians kill civilians in South Ossetia. The position they are supposed to cover is imposed by American government. Just watch this for a few minutes http://streaming.visionip.tv/Russia_Toda...

  3. the news is filtered they only tell you what they want you to here! maybe there is something much more serious going on that they found out and that is why they found something else to talk about its a distraction and its filtered so you are just going to get what they want to tell you

  4. Who cares about Georgia? There is women gymnastics on the TV.Woof Woof.

  5. That's the American media for ya!

  6. at the moment they don't know what to do about the situation and are trying to kind of keep it under the rug for the time being,  trust me,  this situation we are in right now hasn't happened since the cuban missile crisis,  all i am saying you all know the USA doesn't back down, and Russia has now made it very clear that they are back rebuilt from the cold war and they are ready to fight,  russia knows d**n well we wouldn't approve of this, Russia is trying to kill some of the USA credibility for what we do in Iraq.  quite frankly they are right

but that does not mean we will sit and watch and back down

    world war 3 is coming

the Iranian president said a few months ago that an attack on Iran would be painful,  anyone thinking about a biological virus,  kills all clean the bodies and the buildings left intact   a cure and a disease   are you kidding me,    the USA has the most powerful military in the world, and these people do  not care and are sticking it to us.  balls

they have a plan, you better believe that

and in the end it all goes

    BOOM

  7. You are right, however the average person does not care much about or understand the war in a small, out of the way area of the world.  That is very sad as people are dying or being hurt

  8. News And Magazine- http://feedsread.net/

  9. Most people don't like the real news about how bad things are, because they don't know how they are supposed to feel or think about it. With Kaylee if she's found its a happy event. About Edwards they can all feel superior.

  10. Because they don't have any reporters there. The closest foreign news bureaus that the cable and broadcast TV news outlets have in that neighborhood are located in Moscow.

And TV news in the U.S. has but one mission and that is to attract a crowd. It has to be salacious or feed the needs of the "cult of the child" crowd. That way they can take a commercial break and sell stuff to that captive audience.

If you have web streaming capability on your computer, you might want to look at the link below. Click on some of the broadcasters like "Deutsche Welle" in Germany or the BBC in the United Kingdom. Then click on their "on demand" audio like Newslink Plus from Germany or News Hour from the BBC. I'm listening to Germany right now. Just got done with Radio Netherlands' "News Line" show a short while ago.

  11. 1. Because it's a "border Spat" between Russia & one of its former "satelites". #2. There's NOTHNG we can do about it. #3. We Invaded Iraq- a country that was 10,000 miles away from Us on a "suspicion" that they had WMD's- While Russia is going next door to protect some of its Countrymen (& there are aLOT of Russians living in Georgia...). So WHAT are WE going to "tell the Russians" what NOT to do??!  The sad FACT is; we're in NO position to Do or SAY anything about that Situation... -& the Media KNOWS it...  :(

  12. 1. We dont need another war

    2. its not our problem

    3. We will step in if we have to

  13. John Edwards is the new Anna Nicole, I guess.

CNN has been doing a decent job covering the Russo-Georgian war, though. I've had it on for the past six or so hours. It seems to be about 50/50, which is the best you're probably going to find anywhere on TV.

  14. Good question. This is a major issue and all the news networks want to talk about is some guy who was a senator 5 years ago.
