Why doesn't the the immune system normally attack spermatogenic cells?

  1. it tries to but it takes a while to kill all the sperm because of such a large number of them are present in vaginal canal and the speed a sperm moves is quicker than a white blood cell


  2. The v****a, like the digestive system, is technically outside the body.  The immune system does not patrol these areas, being heavily populated with harmless bacteria.

    The mucous membrane protects against infection.  If this defense is broken, the immune system will intervene.
