It goes back to the days of Vietnam. Every night for years the news would broadcast the death count while Americans sat around the dinner table. Many became desensitized to it. However, there were enough outraged citizens that protested and eventually got the government to withdraw.

Now the government brings our fallen soldiers home to a location off limits to the media. I guess they are attempting to hide the tragedy and keep us dumb and happy.

It's a shame we don't treat our dead soldiers as the hero's they are.

Our Government can;t put on this type of display because it would cost too much money because there are not enough Hearses for all of our dead youth.  It would demoralize the American public to see the results of war.  The entire Admintration would have to  hide in "undisclosed locations".  They need the money to continue this immoral war. Imagine trying to do this during the Vietnam War.  Over 58,000 times. The shame of it all.

We are a free nation, because many have fought in the past, continue to do so in the present, and will be fighting in the future.

Canadians are shown honoring their soldiers who have fallen in battle. There have been many similar scenes here in the United States.

I wish more people would show respect such as this to Vets who have died or even served, but here in America you are more likely to get protesters at a servicemans funeral to interrupt it, than a show of respect.

I just saw this and there were no Gov't agents or black helicopters trying to prevent me from seeing this.

What is it with you anti-war propagandists.

It's a war, and our all volunteer military will lose some very brave members that believe in their mission.
