This man spends more on electricity in one month than a lot of us do in a year. And you know they all have big gas sucking cars and fly around in jets that burn TONS of fuel. You think Al Gore saves his aluminum cans? h**l no, his maid throws them out for him.

When is Al going to get off our asses make a (personal)sacrifice for the planet?

  1. You seem to be confusing a vow of poverty with a desire to protect the environment. The two aren't the same. One can take steps to reduce their carbon footprint AND still enjoy the modern conveniences of life that we have as a result of science, capitalism, and democracy.

But the real question is "do you save aluminum cans?" and "do you drive a high mpg car?".  Since you clearly don't know what Al Gore does or doesn't do (I doubt you have dug any of his aluminum cans out of his trash), it's irrelevant, but you definitely know what you do.

  2. Great point.  That's because this agenda is only for us, the "little people."  The big fat elitists can continue to be bigger and fatter as we comply while they take what we saved to consume and ruin the world even more.  It is they who need to reduce their presence in the world, not us.  We'd be a lot better off without them.  I used to make excuses for Al Gore, but now I realize that's hypocritical and his not believing in what he preaches should tell us something.

LMurray: Farm animals??  Why would you get rid of nature and people's livelihood?  So now the problem is animals, not cars and factories? : (

  3. One simple way for California to solve global warming is to remove all farm animals. I am saying this because we do not need a smaller house, but to put our resources into better ways of doing business and taxing. It is like the gas mileage debate-why debate? Just put the best technologies into action

  4. You forget, with politicians its not do as i do, its do as I say.

Gore is a perfect example of the hypocrisy.

  5. The same reason you aren't going to.

It is much easier to green up your home.

  6. That is for the peons.  Al Gore is an eco god and above the rest of us; therefore, he can be a carbon spewing chimney and we are supposed to simply bow before his every pronouncement. I am sure he feels he is saving the world and therefore whatever he does is justified.  Frankly I think he is close to needing a rubber room.  His need to exaggerate his accomplishments have been the butt of jokes but the man clearly is not right in the head.

  7. The liberal credo is do as I say, not as I do.

And Al is sure as shooting a dyed in the wool elitist, boorish, hypocritical, treehugging, liberal, socialist fool.

He is getting very wealthy off the backs of the simple minded masses that believe his ridiculous propoganda.

  8. Right. Just do what "top contributor" (lol) Amy L. says and do not look behind the curtain. There is nothing to see here. Carry on.

  9. Why do you hate capitalism?

  10. If Al Gore isn't all that concerned with global warming I'm not going to worry much about it either.  Obviously he doesn't think it a big enough deal to change his own lifestyle.

  11. lol

  12. Just worry about your own home and your own transportation issues.
