Why doesnt Nascar use a Mustang instead of a Fusion for the body style of their cars?

Mustang are the prominent sports car on the road today, whereas the fusion doesnt relate well to being a racecar.

  2. Only part of a car used anymore wwith the COT is the grill area, what difference does it make.  Fusion might be litttle more areo dynamiclly suited for racing

  4. Rumors are floating around that the Nationwide Series cars will switch to the 'Pony" or 'Muscle' cars along with the new COT.

    Ford... Fusion to Mustang

    Dodge... Charger to Challenger

    Chevy... Monte Carlo SS (or is it Impala for the Nationwide?) to Camaro

    Toyota... they'll more than likely stay with the Camry. The Corolla is an option as well.
