Why doesnt Yahoo mobile work on my cricket phone?

Question

I enter my cellular number (area code included) but I get a message that says "Sorry, we are unable to send a text message to x*x-x*x-xxxx. Please check the phone number and try again."

Is cricket not supported?

If you cannot register your phone number and you do have a mobile web, you can still have access to Yahoo Mobile Web

You can either type in that cellular number OR go to

m.yahoo.com/start  

otherwise this is what you can do:

START BY GOING TO  yAHOO FRONTPAGE

go to

http://m.yahoo.com  

yOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THESE APPS ON BROWSER IF NOT ON PHONE.

I do not see that your carrier is supported for Yahoo GO, but that doesnt mean your phone isnt supported   check here:
