Why doesnt abercrombie or hollister sell purple or black clothing?

somewon i kno (she works there) said that they dont sell it because its too dark clothing for there preppy image, something like that, but i like purple and black!

they do sell purple and black clothing just in the summer they are more colorful and happy colors..

i think they dont sell black clothing becasue they are stores which both sell preppy clothing, and they might think black is emo, or isnt attractive ???? i dont know, i was just guessing???

hollister doesn't sell black but they do sell purple, just only in detailing on items. they don't sell black because it doesn't fit in with the california just off the beach aura.

They do, but very little because most of their clothing is summer colored. Check in the winter and they usually do.

if you like black and purple, then hollister and abercrombie probably aren't the right stores for you...we (meaning those of us who shop there) like nice, bright preppy colors =) not stuff like black and purple. i think you should try hot topic instead...

Ah I don't know.

I like both the stores, but I LOVE black clothing.

I was actually really excited because a few days ago at abercrombie I got a dark grey shirt.

Because those colors don't fit in with the california-beach-hills-person kind of look. Well, I would assume.

because they don't want to. i guess it's just not the "in" styles. but if you want them to you could probably email them. then they'll change their entire clothing line just for you. they did it for me...

they rarely sell purple.... but they dont sell black because its "dark" and a&f and hco aim for preppy and 'sunny' colors. black is a bit too out-of-style for preps. But i would lovee it if they sold some black neutral stuff for a change... good question
