Why doesnt any one like Bose?

What is the problem with Bose?I have Bose at home and in the office and think they are fantastic! When I bought them I heard a few other brands and for the money Bose killed them in sound quality and bass. A friend of mine bought Krix lyrix and they are a load of rubbish.Is it because Bose is a large company and spends a lot of money on research and development, and because of this they are hated by all? (much like microsoft)Or is it that size matters?Why buy a GTS Commodore when WRX will kill it for half the price and half the engine size.-- Andrew Lidgard [e-mail]
